What Methods Of Payment does HULK accept?

Currently, we accept

  • Personal CHQ
  • Bank Draft/Certified CHQ
  • Cash
  • E-Transfer

Please make all CHQ’s payable to ‘HULK Exteriors Inc.”
E-Transfers are accepted upon request.

What benefits do I have for referring HULK to a family member or friend?

We are a company built on referrals. We show appreciation by sending out gift cards each quarter, to show client referral appreciation. We also show appreciation to clients who give feedback on our ‘HomeStars’ company review page.

Does HULK do cash jobs?

We accept cash as a form of payment, but do not do jobs where we void HST. Beware of companies that do cash jobs and avoid charging taxes, as they may not be around in the near future if problems in their workmanship appear. They may also not be registered as a company, WSIB compliant or carry any liability insurance. If a company accepts cash, with no invoice/receipt, you will not be given a manufacturer warranty on product.

Do I have to pay Taxes/HST?

Yes, we take pride in operating professionally as a business. We also pay our employees WSIB amounts, as well as liability insurance. We operate ethically and according to the law.

How do I prepare my home before work is to be completed on it?

You can do this by:

  • Ensuring an empty drive way for bin/material delivery
  • Ensure an empty drive way on day job is started
  • Move personal property away from areas being worked on prior to job start date. Ie: BBQ’s, gazebos, patio sets, etc…
  • Remove any Christmas lights from eavestrough
  • Protect any property such as shrubs or plants, or let our crew leader know beforehand and they can assist you in protecting fixed property

Do I need to be home while work is being completed?

No you do not. Although it is important that we have access to an electrical outlet outside of your home, as well as access to a source of water outside of your home(hose). It is important to let the crew leader know if you/others will be home so they can guide you through the work area to ensure your personal safety. If you choose to go with HULK, you have chosen to trust us with your home. We pledge to respect it, and stress that it is not required for you to take time off work to be present during a job.

What type of warranty does HULK guarantee me?

Each job will be given a written workmanship warranty based on each individual job’s conditions. Most complete jobs are given a 10 Year Workmanship warranty and are written.

Will my personal information be kept confidential?

Yes. We do not give out any personal information collected from you and keep it confidential.

What is the Booking/Job Process that HULK uses?

At HULK, we take pride in our ability to complete your booked job within 2-3 weeks of the booking date. Due to daily changes in weather forecasting, we have adopted a unique method for booking and completing your job.

  1. When you decide to confirm to book a job with us, you will be placed on a job list based on a first come first serve basis.
  2. You will be given an estimated date range for your job to be completed. Each day where the weather delays our work, your estimated date may be pushed.
  3. You will be notified a minimum of 3 days before your job. If a garbage bin or material delivery is needed, it will be delivered at least 2 days before your start date to your home or property.
  4. After the job is completed, a full cleanup of work area is performed.
  5. Dump/Garbage bin is picked up within 24-48 business hours of job completion.
  6. A final invoice will be given to the homeowner/ property owner.
